Marlboro Restaurant Week Belongs to Wednesday and Thursday Nights

Marlboro's second annual Restaurant Week runs from Sunday, October 11 through Sunday, October 18. The best tables of the week are on a Wednesday or a Thursday. On those two days, all eight restaurants offering a sit-down prix-fixe menu are serving it. On Saturday, October 17, only three are. The township's Economic Development Committee organizes the week, but there is no single townwide deal. The official page says plainly that "participating restaurants, menus, offers, and dates vary." Each restaurant chose its own days, and once you lay those choices side by side, the week takes on a clear shape.

Eight Sit-Down Menus, Eight Different Calendars

These are the eight sit-down prix-fixe menus posted on the township's Restaurant Week page as of early October:

  • Amorina Ristorante Italiano: $36 lunch, $49 dinner. Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays.
  • Aunt Butchie's of Brooklyn: $29.95 three-course prix fixe. Tuesday through Friday.
  • La Cucina Nouveau: $49.95 three-course prix fixe. Tuesday through Thursday only.
  • Nonna's Cucina: $47 three-course prix fixe. Tuesday through Friday.
  • Peppino's Brick Oven: $50 four-course prix fixe, dine-in only. Lunch and dinner Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. Dinner only Friday and Saturday. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
  • Sette Wood Burning Bistro: $55 four-course prix-fixe dinner or 15% off its new lunch menu. Lunch or dinner Sunday through Thursday, lunch only on Friday.
  • SamVera: $55 prix fixe. Sunday from 1 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 4 p.m., closed Mondays.
  • Istanbul Bay Premium: $44.95 three-course prix fixe with a mocktail. 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Here's the same information arranged by day:

Day Date Sit-down prix-fixe menus available Count
Sunday Oct 11 Peppino's, Sette, SamVera, Istanbul Bay lunch 4
Monday Oct 12 Amorina, Sette, Istanbul Bay 3
Tuesday Oct 13 Amorina, Aunt Butchie's, La Cucina Nouveau, Nonna's, Sette, SamVera, Istanbul Bay 7
Wednesday Oct 14 All eight 8
Thursday Oct 15 All eight 8
Friday Oct 16 Amorina, Aunt Butchie's, Nonna's, Peppino's dinner, SamVera, Istanbul Bay lunch 6
Saturday Oct 17 Amorina, Peppino's dinner, Istanbul Bay lunch 3
Sunday Oct 18 Peppino's, Sette, SamVera, Istanbul Bay lunch 4

On Friday, Sette also serves lunch, but its Restaurant Week dinner isn't offered that day. SamVera's posted hours don't include Saturday.

On Wednesday or Thursday, every one of these menus is available, from Aunt Butchie's at $29.95 to Sette and SamVera at $55. La Cucina Nouveau's $49.95 menu is the most limited of the eight, offered only Tuesday through Thursday. If the weeknight schedule falls apart, there is no weekend fallback for that one.

Saturday Is the Thinnest Night of the Week

The Saturday in the middle of the week is the hardest day for a sit-down Restaurant Week dinner. Amorina's $49 dinner and Peppino's $50 four-course dinner are the only two prix-fixe dinners on the Saturday list. Istanbul Bay's offer stops at 3 p.m. on weekends.

The township is pushing people to book early. The October 2 weekend update tells residents "we encourage you to make your reservations soon." For a group that can only do a weekend dinner, that advice matters most for Saturday's two dinner options.

The setup itself isn't new. Last year's inaugural Restaurant Week ran October 5 through 12, 2025. That year's archived page also said offers and dates varied by restaurant, and the township's kickoff message counted 15 participating restaurants. This year's version keeps that flexibility, and the day-by-day split is what flexibility produces once more than 20 kitchens are each setting their own schedule.

What Runs All Eight Days

The quick-service and casual restaurants cover the weekend. These offers are posted as available Sunday through Sunday:

  • ROOST Nashville Hot Chicken, 2 Ryan Road: $9.99 three-tender combo, $15.99 sandwich combo, $39.99 meal for two, $59.99 family meal. Dine-in, takeout or delivery.
  • Village Maria Pizzeria, 81 South Main Street: $9.95 lunch special, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., dine-in or delivery.
  • Meli's Thin & Crispy Pizza Co., 280 Route 9 North: $59.99 Feast of 2 or $74.99 Family Feast, dine-in only.
  • Burger Bros, 460 CR-520: $15.99 smash combo or $18.99 6-ounce combo.
  • Di Santillo's Artisan Sandwiches, 455 CR-520: $15.99 half cheesesteak combo or $14.99 half sandwich combo.
  • Koy Grill, 280 Route 9: 10% off, dine-in only.
  • DUBAI Chicken, 184 Route 9 North: 10% off, dine-in or takeout.
  • Mangal House, 184 Route 9: 10% off dine-in for parties of up to five, 2 to 10 p.m.
  • Brooklyn Square Pizza, 460 CR-520: lunch only, with dine-in, takeout and delivery.

Burger Boys at 128 South Main Street also runs every day. Its $12.79 smash burger combo with fries and a fountain drink is available 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Two family takeout packages work the opposite way from the weekend-friendly list. Pizza & Pasta Factory's $69.95 Family Chicken Dinner and Red Tomato Urban Pizzeria's $74.95 Family Dinner Package are both takeout and delivery only, Sunday through Thursday. Like the sit-down menus, they fit a school-night dinner better than a Friday night in. Better Gourmet Health Kitchen at 12 Route 9 runs its half-off Chicken Caesar wrap and buy-one-get-one smoothie deal Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and is closed Sundays.

The Week Starts and Ends on a Sunday

Because the week runs Sunday to Sunday, it has two Sundays, and each one comes with its own township event.

On October 11, the Marlboro Farmers Market at 444 Route 520 holds one of its last Sundays of the season, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting. SamVera's Sunday Restaurant Week hours start at 1 p.m., at 476 Route 520, a few street numbers up the same road. The same stretch of Route 520 also has Brooklyn Square and Burger Bros at 460, plus Di Santillo's and Red Tomato at 455.

October 18 is the bigger day. The 42nd annual Marlboro Day runs noon to 4 p.m. at the Marlboro Municipal Complex. The flyer lists bus shuttles, food vendors, entertainment and rides, and notes that dogs, smoking and alcohol are not permitted. The township's 2026 event list adds inflatables, food trucks, a petting zoo and pony rides. Istanbul Bay's weekend prix fixe ends at 3 p.m., so it overlaps the festival almost exactly. The three sit-down menus that run into Sunday evening are Peppino's, Sette and SamVera, and those are the realistic options for a Restaurant Week dinner after the festival closes at 4.

The flyer lists Sunday, November 1 as Marlboro Day's rain date. If it rains on the 18th, the festival moves but Restaurant Week does not, and the final Sunday of the promotion goes ahead without the event at the Municipal Complex.

South Main Street Makes the Easiest Weeknight Plan

Restaurant Week falls along three corridors: Route 9, Route 520 and South Main Street. South Main is the tightest cluster for a weeknight dinner. Amorina is at 8 South Main Street, Village Maria at 81, Burger Boys at 128, and Sette shares the 130 South Main Street address with Cuzin's Seafood & Clam Bar. Osteria Cucina Rustica is farther down at 915 South Main. On a Wednesday or Thursday, Amorina's $49 dinner and Sette's $55 four-course dinner are both available.

The Main Street side of town also has an event the day before the week starts. The Marlboro Volunteer Fire Company holds its open house on Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 5 North Main Street.

The Route 9 group is more spread out. It runs from Better Gourmet at 12 Route 9 to La Cucina Nouveau at 167 Route 9 in Morganville, DUBAI Chicken and Mangal House at 184, Istanbul Bay at 190, and Koy Grill and Meli's sharing 280. Aunt Butchie's at 430 Route 9 North and Nonna's Cucina at 448 Route 9 have Englishtown mailing addresses but are on the official participant list. They are two of the three prix-fixe menus offered only Tuesday through Friday or a shorter run.

The Roster Is Still Changing

Be careful about treating any list, including the one above, as final. The township's September 8 announcement named 21 participating restaurants. The October 2 weekend update counted 14 participating "with more to come." The official page now includes Mangal House and Nonna's Cucina, neither of which was in the September release. Cuzin's Seafood & Clam Bar and Osteria Cucina Rustica are still listed with their specials and dates "coming soon." Brooklyn Square links to a menu without a headline price. Prices and days can change before October 11, so check with each restaurant when you book.

For anyone deciding when to go, the schedule above gives the answer. Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15 are the two days when every sit-down menu in Marlboro's Restaurant Week is available.

Restaurant Week works because each restaurant picked the days that suit it, and pricing a home works the same way. Pricing well depends on knowing which days, weeks and seasons work in a seller's favor on a particular street.
